Monique Stevens played basketball a few years ago at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. From the initial off-season workouts it was evident that Monique was going to be a tireless worker and a fantastic leader. Monique took over the reins as the vocal floor leader starting as point guard. Monique displayed an innate ability to score when team needed or defer to teammates when they needed everyone involved. She was a fantastic defender and for her size she was as tough as they come. She was always willing to sacrifice her body to make the game changing play. What sets Monique apart is her high basketball IQ and ability to communicate with her teammates and coaches. She is a direct reflection on the court. She has all the qualities to be a successful point guard.
